New Two-Drug attack on returning melanoma shows promise

NCT ID NCT06365619

Summary

This study is testing whether giving two immunotherapy drugs (ipilimumab and nivolumab) before surgery can help patients with melanoma that has come back after previous treatment. Participants will receive two cycles of the drugs, then have standard surgery, followed by additional standard therapy. The goal is to see if this approach shrinks the cancer before surgery and improves long-term outcomes.
