Slovenian researchers hunt for clues to make melanoma treatment more personal
NCT ID NCT07407166
Summary
This study is testing how well standard immunotherapy works for people in Slovenia with advanced melanoma that has spread. Researchers will follow 40 patients receiving this first-line treatment to see how their cancer responds and how long the treatment keeps the disease under control. A key goal is to analyze blood, stool, and fluid samples to find biological markers that can predict which patients are most likely to benefit from immunotherapy, helping doctors personalize future care.
