Can meditation rewire the teen brain to fight depression?
NCT ID NCT05267340
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific mindfulness meditation program can help reduce depression symptoms in teenagers. Researchers are enrolling 120 teens aged 14-18 with mild to moderate depression to participate in meditation training. They will use brain scans (MRI) to see if the training changes connections in the brain and if those changes are linked to feeling less depressed.
