Simple meditation eases anxiety for kidney patients
NCT ID NCT07378748
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, guided meditation practice could help people on long-term dialysis feel less anxious and more spiritually at peace. 58 adult patients were randomly assigned to either practice a 15-minute guided meditation or just rest quietly during their dialysis sessions twice a week for a month. Researchers measured changes in anxiety and spiritual well-being to see if the meditation made a meaningful difference.
