Can a pharmacist with a smartphone make Kids' hospital stays safer?
NCT ID NCT07254741
Summary
This study tested whether having a clinical pharmacist review children's medications daily, with the help of medical apps, could make hospital care safer. It involved 2,000 children aged 2 to 15 who were taking multiple medications. Researchers compared this enhanced review to standard hospital care to see if it helped catch and prevent more medication mistakes.
