Summary
This study tested two new methods to measure pressure and stiffness inside solid tumors in 27 patients. One method uses a thin catheter to measure pressure directly, and the other uses sound waves like an ultrasound to check stiffness. The goal was to see if these measurements could help doctors learn more about tumor fibrosis, or scarring. This was a small pilot study to see if the methods work, not to treat the disease.
