NCT ID NCT07462806
First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special device (Q-NRG+) can accurately measure how many calories very small babies (under 10 kg) burn while in the pediatric intensive care unit. About 80 newborns and infants will be observed to see if the device works well despite their tiny size. The goal is to help doctors give the right nutrition to these critically ill children.
