Summary
This study tested how different types of meals before exercise affect blood sugar levels in men with type 2 diabetes. Fifteen participants completed several sessions: fasting or eating a meal rich in glucose, fructose, fat, or aspartame, followed by one hour of exercise. The goal was to see which meal led to the biggest drop in blood sugar after exercise. Results help understand how food choices before activity can improve diabetes management.
