First human trial begins for new drug candidate

Summary
This is an early-stage study to check if a new drug called MDI-2517 is safe for people and to see how the body processes it. The study will enroll 52 healthy adults who will take either a single dose or multiple doses of the drug or a placebo. Researchers will closely monitor participants for any side effects and measure how much of the drug gets into the bloodstream.
