Summary
This study tested an experimental drug, MCI-196, in 183 people with type 2 diabetes to see if it could help control blood sugar and improve cholesterol levels. Participants took the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal was to measure changes in blood glucose and HbA1c, a key diabetes marker, as well as safety.
