Summary

This study follows 1000 adult stem cell transplant patients to track a type of drug-resistant bacteria (MBL-CRE) that can cause serious infections. Researchers will swab the perianal area regularly to see how often patients carry these bacteria and how many later get sick from them. The goal is to learn risk factors and resistance patterns to improve prevention and treatment.
