Summary
This is a laboratory study testing a new mattress system designed to help prevent pressure injuries (bed sores). Researchers will measure how the mattress affects skin pressure and blood flow in 20 healthy volunteers who lie on it for extended periods. The goal is to gather data on how well the mattress works before it becomes available to patients.
