First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a remote program called "And Now What?" to help prevent depression and anxiety in new mothers. 128 first-time moms in Chile took part, with some receiving the program plus usual care and others only usual care. The program included educational modules, messaging with a facilitator, and a virtual group meeting. The goal was to see if the program was feasible and acceptable, and if it could improve mothers' mental health.
