First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a physiotherapist-given baby massage could help infants aged 0-6 months sleep longer and strengthen the emotional bond with their mothers. Twenty-four healthy full-term babies received classical massage. Researchers measured sleep quality and mother-baby attachment using questionnaires. The goal was to see if this simple, non-drug approach could ease common postpartum challenges.
