NCT ID NCT06256016
First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether adding massage to the upper back muscles improves neck pain relief when combined with standard neck therapy and exercise. Sixty adults with chronic neck pain (lasting over 3 months) were split into two groups: one received only neck therapy and exercise, the other also received back massage. Researchers measured pain intensity and daily function to see if the extra massage made a difference.
