Massage vs. massage: scientists test which eases neck pain best
NCT ID NCT07120659
Summary
This study is testing two different types of massage to see which one works better for people with long-term neck pain. Researchers will enroll 60 people to receive either a gentle 'tactile' massage or a more intense 'cupping' massage once a week for six weeks. The main goal is to understand how these massages affect the body's pain system, to help find better drug-free treatments for chronic pain.
