Summary
This study tested a program called MASC for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's or related dementias. The program teaches mindfulness, self-compassion, and skills to handle challenging behaviors. 13 caregivers took part to see if the program was practical and well-received. The goal was to help caregivers manage stress, not to cure the disease.
