Summary

This study tested how well manual toothbrushes reduce plaque and gingivitis (gum inflammation). 84 adults brushed at home with one of two toothbrushes for 6 weeks. Dentists checked their teeth and gums at the start and after 1, 3, and 6 weeks to see how much plaque and gum swelling improved.
