NCT ID NCT06750679

First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding manual lymph drainage (a special massage) to standard compression therapy helps people with leg lymphedema. 31 adults with stage 2 or 3 lymphedema were split into two groups: one got compression alone, the other got compression plus massage. Researchers measured swelling, tissue hardness, skin thickness, and quality of life to see if the massage made a real difference.
