Summary

This study tested a multi-step treatment approach for adults with previously untreated mantle cell lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. Patients received chemotherapy combined with a targeted drug (obinutuzumab), followed by a stem cell transplant using their own cells. After the transplant, they received long-term maintenance therapy with the same drug for up to three years, with the goal of controlling the disease and preventing its return.
