Summary
This study tested a two-part chemotherapy plan (EDOCH and DHAP) with or without the targeted drug rituximab for people 65 and younger newly diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma. The goal was to see how well the treatment controlled the disease and whether adding rituximab helped. Participants also received maintenance therapy with rituximab, thalidomide, and prednisone to keep the cancer from coming back.
