Jaw reconstruction study: does timing affect implant accuracy?

NCT ID NCT07452315

First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at how accurately surgeons can rebuild the lower jaw using a bone flap from the leg and place dental implants right away. It compares two groups: patients who have the surgery right after removing a tumor or damaged bone, and those who have it later. The goal is to see if the planned positions of the bone segments and implants match the actual results, measured with CT scans.
