First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether coloring mandalas (circular patterns) for 20 minutes before surgery can lower anxiety and stress. About 60 adults having gallbladder surgery will be split into two groups: one that colors and one that gets standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety and stress levels before and after the activity using questionnaires and vital signs.
