Coloring away fear: mandala therapy tested in kids with leukemia

NCT ID NCT07203742

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having children with leukemia color a mandala (a circular, patterned design) right before a spinal chemotherapy treatment can lower their anxiety and fear. About 60 children aged 4 to 12 will take part. Researchers will measure their fear and anxiety using special scales to see if this simple, non-drug activity helps them feel calmer.
