Summary
This study tested a new anti-malarial drug called INE963 in 52 adults with uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria. The goal was to see how quickly the drug cleared the malaria parasite from the blood and how well it was tolerated. Participants took the drug by mouth and were monitored for 28 days to check for cure rates and side effects.
