First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested if a gentle hands-on therapy called Maitland mobilization can improve walking patterns in people with chronic low back and leg pain caused by a pinched nerve. 46 adults aged 35-45 with pain lasting over 12 weeks received either Maitland mobilization plus standard physical therapy or standard therapy alone. The goal was to see if the added mobilization helped with walking speed and movement.
