Summary
This study tested whether taking magnesium oxide pills can improve blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. 247 adults with high blood sugar took either magnesium or a placebo for 12 months. Researchers measured changes in HbA1c and fasting blood sugar to see if magnesium helps manage the disease.
