Summary
This study looks at whether taking magnesium along with a standard antidepressant (SSRI) works better than the antidepressant alone for adults with major depressive disorder. Fifty participants were followed for 4 weeks to see if their depression symptoms improved more with the combination. The goal is to find a simple, safe way to enhance current depression treatment.
