New diabetes combo aims to lower blood sugar in phase 3 trial

Summary
This study tests a new combination medicine called Madalena association for people with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is not well controlled with two other diabetes drugs. About 270 adults will receive either the new combo or a placebo to see if it safely lowers HbA1c levels. The goal is to help manage diabetes, not cure it.
