First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a machine learning model can accurately identify which patients with a moderate chance of having bile duct stones actually need a detailed scan (EUS or MRCP). About 1,000 adults with suspected stones will be enrolled. If the model works well, many patients could avoid these invasive or time-consuming tests.
