Summary

This study tested whether machine learning can analyze facial expressions and voice recordings to measure pain in people with cancer. 83 participants, aged 12 and older, recorded short videos at clinic visits and at home over about 3 months. The goal was to see if this technology could be a useful tool for assessing pain, especially in diverse populations.
