Rare lymphoma puzzle: scientists hunt for clues to tell two cancers apart
NCT ID NCT07313943
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at rare lymphomas that are hard to tell apart under the microscope—some look like Hodgkin lymphoma but lack a typical marker (PAX5), while others may be a different type called ALCL. Researchers will study the genetic and protein features of these cancer cells to find better ways to diagnose them correctly. The goal is to improve treatment decisions for the 60 adult participants being recruited.
