First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to diagnose lymphoma in the chest: cryobiopsy (freezing a tissue sample) and needle aspiration (using a thin needle). About 470 adults with suspected new or returning lymphoma will be randomly assigned to one procedure. The goal is to see which method gives a more accurate diagnosis and has fewer complications.
