Summary
This study looked at whether giving patients their own infection-fighting white blood cells (called lymphocytes) after chemotherapy and radiation could help restore their immune system. It included 19 adults with lung or esophageal cancer. The goal was to see if this approach is safe and can bring lymphocyte counts back to healthy levels.
