First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at 133 breast cancer patients to find out who is more likely to develop arm swelling (lymphedema) after having lymph nodes removed. Researchers checked medical records, proteins in tissue, and genes to build a risk prediction model. The goal is to help doctors identify high-risk patients early and take steps to prevent or manage swelling.
