New study reveals how cancer treatment affects swelling in the head and neck
NCT ID NCT05316974
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at 50 people treated for head and neck cancer to see how often swelling (lymphedema) happens after treatment. Researchers measured fluid levels in the head and neck area and asked about quality of life before and after cancer therapy. The goal was to better understand the problem, not to test a new treatment.
