First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a home-use pneumatic compression device can improve lymphatic function in people with leg swelling (edema) caused by chronic venous disease. About 34 participants will be split into two groups: one gets standard compression bandages alone, the other adds daily pneumatic compression sessions. Researchers will use special imaging to measure changes in lymphatic drainage and vein function over 30-45 days.
