Summary
This study looks at whether a surgery called immediate lymphatic reconstruction (ILR) can prevent lymphedema—painful arm swelling—in women having lymph nodes removed during breast cancer treatment. Researchers will measure arm size and fluid levels in 90 participants to see if the procedure works. The goal is to provide strong evidence that ILR should be standard care.
