First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether removing lymph nodes during prostate removal surgery helps men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. About 3,650 men will be randomly assigned to have lymph nodes removed or not. The goal is to see if the extra surgery lowers the chance of cancer coming back, or if it only adds risks like swelling and nerve injury.
