Promising lyme vaccine moves closer to reality in major trial

Summary
This study tested a new vaccine called VLA15 to prevent Lyme disease, which is spread by tick bites. Researchers gave the vaccine to 625 healthy people aged 5 to 65, using two different shot schedules, to see which was safer and triggered a stronger immune response. The goal is to find a way to protect people from getting Lyme disease in the first place.
