Summary

This study tests a drug called luspatercept in 40 adults with lower-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), a bone marrow condition that often requires frequent blood transfusions. The goal is to see if luspatercept can reduce the number of transfusions needed. Participants will receive the drug and be monitored for side effects and transfusion frequency.
