New device trial aims to seal off dangerous brain bulges

NCT ID NCT07259018

Summary

This is an early study to test the safety and feasibility of a new medical device called the LuSeed System. It is designed to treat unruptured brain aneurysms, which are weak bulges in a brain artery. The device is inserted via a catheter to block the aneurysm, aiming to prevent it from rupturing in the future. The study will enroll up to 10 patients at a single site in Canada.
