New drug combo targets rare bladder cancer in phase 2 trial

Summary

This study tests two cancer drugs, lurbinectedin and avelumab, in people with a rare and aggressive type of bladder cancer (small cell carcinoma). The goal is to see if these drugs can shrink tumors or slow the disease. Participants receive treatment every 3 weeks for up to 10 years, as long as it helps.
