New combo therapy aims to tame lupus kidney flares

Summary
This study tests whether combining two drugs, belimumab and voclosporin, along with standard treatment, can better control lupus-related kidney inflammation. About 30 adults with active lupus nephritis will take part. The goal is to see if more patients achieve complete kidney remission and can safely stop one of the standard medications.
