Summary
This study looked at whether a special CT scan (dual-energy CT) can give useful information for people getting lung valves to treat emphysema. Researchers enrolled 13 adults who were already scheduled for the valve procedure. They measured changes in lung blood flow, walking distance, and breathing tests to see if the scan helps guide treatment.
