Summary

This study looks at whether a special breathing technique, guided by ultrasound, can help prevent lung complications in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who are having a total laparoscopic hysterectomy. The technique, called a recruitment maneuver, aims to reopen collapsed air sacs in the lungs after surgery. Researchers will enroll 90 adults and monitor their lung health using ultrasound scores and other measures.
