Ultrasound may replace scopes for lung tube checks

Summary

This study checks if a lung ultrasound can correctly confirm the position of a breathing tube used during lung surgery. About 100 adults having planned lung surgery will be enrolled. The ultrasound results will be compared with the current best method (a tiny camera scope) and simple listening with a stethoscope.
