Ultrasound tool may sharpen physiotherapy for breathless patients
NCT ID NCT06412081
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a bedside lung ultrasound can help physiotherapists choose the right treatment for hospitalized patients with sudden breathing issues. About 30 adults will be enrolled, and researchers will compare ultrasound findings with chest X-rays. The goal is to see if the ultrasound changes the therapy plan, not to cure or treat the disease itself.
