Summary
This study tests whether a special imaging belt (electrical impedance tomography) can detect overinflation in the lungs of patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) who are lying on their stomach. The goal is to see if this tool helps doctors adjust breathing machines to avoid lung damage. About 30 adults in the ICU will participate.
