Doctors test High-Tech belt to see inside lungs of critically ill patients
NCT ID NCT07090460
Summary
This study is testing a special imaging belt (called EIT) to see how air moves inside the lungs of patients with severe breathing failure (ARDS) who are on breathing machines. Researchers want to see if this belt can help doctors better understand how each lung is working, especially when patients are lying on their stomachs. The goal is to gather information that might help improve breathing machine settings in the future.
